A graduate of Law and Economics from University of London, James held the position of pioneer General Manager of the onetime reputable Cameroon Bank.

He has represented the Government of Cameroon in many cases. He heads the banking, Finance and Litigation practice of the firm. He has also headed several commercial and civil litigation, as well as investment and corporate counseling.
